You can also view definitions of related service counseling and what it generally is meant to include, such as parent counseling and training. Let’s face it, not many of us special education counselors and school psychologists enjoy sitting around trying to come up with measurable goals for kids who, if we do a good job, are dynamic and changing all the time anyway. I’d much rather spend my time working with the kids, teachers, and parents trying to make the good changes happen for better student outcomes.
